NaHuDi briefing for Embassy of Ireland in Ethiopia

The University of Galway’s NaHuDi project team recently met with the Embassy of Ireland in Ethiopia. The Ambassador of Ireland to Ethiopia, Olivia Leslie met with Dr. Una Murray (Lead Principal Investigator for NaHuDi project), and University of Galway colleagues working on the LEG4DEV and EcoFoodSystems projects.

Progress on the Research Ireland NaHuDi project was discussed, along with plans for fieldwork in the Somali Region. The Embassy also outlined its ongoing work in the same region.

Following on from recent engagements at COP30 in Brazil, at IDOS in Germany and presentations in Malawi, the NaHuDi project was delighted to meet with and discuss plans for 2026 alongside key stakeholders in Ethiopia.
