NaHuDi team members recently attended the Environmental and Climate Mobilities Network (ECMN) Conference 2026 at Wageningen University where they presented a panel entitled ‘Rethinking Methods, Positionality, and Power in Climate Mobility Research: From Research Desks to Policy Impact’


The panel was chaired by Dr Una Murray, Director MA International Development Practice, University of Galway, Ireland. Panellists included Dr Lucy Szaboova, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow, University of Vienna, Austria & Associate Fellow, University of Exeter, UK; Dr Susan Ekoh, Senior Researcher IDOS Germany; Dr Tekalign Ayalew, Assistant Professor in Sociology and Social Anthropology at Addis Ababa University and Dr Tomy Ncube, Post Doctoral Researcher, University of Galway, Ireland.
